    Brake Work
  • Masters Garage is wonderful -- ask for Gary
  • Whelchel Alignment and Brake on West Broad (706-543-8144) is simply super, and treated my old car with respect. He checked my belts, as well, upon request. Good luck--
  • I have used Hopewell Automotive twice for breaks and my Mom used them too. They are reasonably priced and very trustworthy. They will tell you what is wrong, but will not pressure you into having the work done. The only drawback to using Hopewells is the hours. They are only opened M-F 8 - 5:30. I highly recommend them. I have gone to them for about the last 8 years and never have I been dissatisfied with the work.
  • Good luck! I am still paying on my vehicle and I had to get pads yesterday along with oil change and sanding of the rotors. Since I am still under Honda's Certified Maintenance, I use them, of course, not cheap! I here Cheatam on Timothy Road is a good garage, but haven't been there before; check with Butler's on Lumpkin Street; holler back.
  • Porterfield Tire on Mitchell Bridge is AWESOME!!! They are affordably priced (much cheaper than our former mechanics) and very nice! They fixed up Betty for me before I drove her to Ohio a month or so ago. I think we paid around $150 for all new brakes. That is including everything because even the pins were rusted out.
  • Auto Tech. Honest, reliable, reasonable. Used them for many years. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
  • I recommend my husband, Mike Kittle, Kittle A-1 Auto, Lexington Rd. 706.548.4311
  • You can't go wrong with Snow Tire.
  • For brakes I recommend Whelchel on West Broad near to Red Lobster.
  • I'd recommend David McGinnis at Snow Tire. The number is 706-543-4371.
  • Great mechanics (my hubby is the tire guy) out at University Tire but I will not claim they are the cheapest though I believe you get what you pay for sometimes.
  • Take your Honda to no one other than Auto Tech. I took my '95 Accord there for years. I know have a new Element which is under extended warranty, but for a brake job, I'll take her to Auto Tech.
  • I get all my Honda work done at Auto Tech on Coile Rd off of Mitchell Bridge Rd. I've used these folks since 1980 and been very pleased with them.
  • Five Star Auto across from bowling alley on 441. The Best!
