We use Dr. Agrawal On Prince Ave and really like him. I highly recommend him!!
Dr. Amit Shah handled my family member's heart catheter earlier this year. He is an exceptional surgeon
& very good with his patients-- clear & concise; he listens to the patient (something we found refreshing)
& is well-connected if referrals are necessary. He is listed in the phone book on Baxter St., however, he
has moved out to the Medical Office Park on GA 316.
Dr. Ouzts is all right. He is in the group with Dr. Thomas Murphy (706-546-8510), on the back side the the Navy
School (700 Oglethorpe Avenue, right before Hawthorne Ave.). I really like him. Used Dr. John Layher until
this past year; he moved to a group out of the hospital (Oconee Heart & Vascular Center, 2470 Daniels Bridge
Susan Kreher is great! 706-543-8444
I really like Susan Kreher and she has good "bed side manners." :-)
Athens Cardiology Group, particularly Dr. McGill and Dr. Miller, but they're all really fantastic.
My husband used Dr. Miller for a long time, and he always seemed nice and concerned
(however there was ALWAYS a long wait), but then
we switched doctors and found out Dr. Miller wasn't so terrific after all.
We've been to Dr. Paul Beltran who is very good.
A number of years ago, I took my Dad to Dr. Beltran and liked him very much. However, on three out of four visits, we had to sit in the
waiting room over an hour, which was very difficult for someone in his 80s. It also seemed as if the staff kept mixing up instructions.
If had been up to Dad alone, instead of having me to keep things straight, it could have been a disaster. I'm glad you had better luck
there, and I agree with you that Dr. Beltran is very good.
