Tagalong on Atlanta Highway in the shopping center with McAlister's is where I take all my kids stuff. It's great because I always have a credit waiting on me when I go in. You can also get cash for your clothes, but not until after they sell (since it's a consignment shop) and I think they only pay out at a certain time every month (not sure when that is since I always take mine in credit).
- Cornerstone Church on the Lexington Hwy has a Kids Consignment sale twice a year. The next one is August 21st, August 22nd, & August 23rd. They will sell your cloths for you and you pick up whatever is left over on Sat. afternoon. Also, if you are a consigner or worker, you get in early to shop before the sale starts. Saturday is 1/2 price day. You get rid of the things you no longer need and get things you do need at a great price. This is a huge sale and just gets bigger every year! They have great stuff from cribs and furniture to toys and battery operated cars, books, DVDs, cloths and all kinds of stuff!
- There's another LARGE really nice consignment sale in Athens that's also held twice a year, usually October and February.
It's called KinderMarket and is held at the YMCA.
