  • I have not been back to Dr. Niknafs since posting the first time (negatively), but I see that he was voted "Best podiatrist" in a contest sponsored by the Athens Banner-Herald. Also, a friend of mine has recently had successful foot surgery done by Dr. Niknafs, and she was very pleased with him. She said that he has hospital privileges here in Athens, so my general practitioner's comment that a podiatrist should not be doing surgery apparently does not apply to Dr. Niknafs.
  • lost me on the kind bed-side manners.............but Rossi is very good, you just have to know how to handle him.

Do not know of a good podiatrist in Athens, but I found Dr. Rossi very unsatifactory.

I use Dr. Mauro Rossi and I love him. He did my foot surgery too.

  • Dr. Todd Herron is the best! He is located on Gaines School Road. He has treated our son and daughter.

I started going to Dr. Todd Herron at Athens Family Foot Care in September/October of last year. He put me at ease, told me what needed to be done, and most importantly, fixed me! I really like both him and his office staff. And they take UGA’s insurance.

  • Dr. DePalma! Very knowledgeable, wonderful staff and very kind, concerned “bed-side manners”. He just did my foot surgery three weeks ago after months of trying all non-surgical options. I would recommend him to anyone!
